Lent has officially come to an end, and I’m excited to report… progress!

I filled two full bags and added a lamp I replaced, so yes, we are doing the thing over
here. Everything is loaded up in the car, which honestly feels like a win in itself.

Now… let’s talk about the real hardest part:
actually stopping and dropping it all off at Goodwill or The Salvation Army.

Why is that part always the struggle?

But hey, bags are packed, car is loaded, and I’m feeling optimistic. Here’s to hoping it
all gets dropped off in the next day or two!

The Unexpected Win

What I didn’t expect was remembering how good this would feel.

There’s something about clearing out space that creates a sense of calm you didn’t
realize you needed. Two bags lighter = a little more breathing room, a little more clarity,
and honestly… a cleaner, happier space.

And the best part? Knowing those items can go on to help someone else. That part
never gets old.

Keeping the Momentum Going

Now that Lent is over, I’m not quite ready to stop.

Instead of a big overwhelming clean-out, I’m shifting into something more doable:

  • Set a timer ⏱️
  • Pick a number (5, 10, 15 items)
  • Choose a drawer, cabinet, or small space

That’s it.

No pressure. No perfection. Just progress.

We’ve Got This

If you’re in the same boat, half-started piles, bags sitting by the door, or “I’ll take it later”
energy, you’re not alone.

Let’s keep it going together:

  • A cleaner house
  • A lighter mindset
  • And a chance to give a helping hand to someone who needs it

One drawer, one bag, one drop-off at a time.
