Finding Balance Between Work and Play
As the owner of two businesses, I know firsthand how tricky it can be to balance work and play. Some days it feels like there just aren’t enough hours to do it all, but I’ve learned that making space for joy and creativity is what keeps me inspired and moving forward. This blog is my little reminder to pause, breathe, and think outside the box, not just when it comes to business decisions, but also when it comes to playtime and the things that fill my cup.
I’m endlessly grateful for the opportunities my work brings me, but I also believe life is meant to be sprinkled with fun, laughter, and a little sparkle. For me, that means good food, cozy afternoons with a book, trying new crafts, lots of ice cream and of course anything with glitter and shine. I love sharing a good glass of wine or a perfect mimosa with friends, catching a Broadway show that sweeps me off my feet, or planning vacations that bring me joy, whether that’s walking along a Hawaiian beach, setting sail on a cruise, or swimming to clear my mind.
This space is where I’ll share bits of all of it, the lessons from business, the joys of play, and the small things that make life beautiful. My hope is that you’ll find inspiration here to carve out your own balance, embrace creativity, and celebrate both the hustle and the happy moments.

Lent has officially come to an end, and I’m excited to report… progress! I filled two full bags and added a lamp I replaced, so yes, we are doing the thing overhere. Everything is loaded up in the car, which honestly feels like a win in itself. Now… let’s talk about...
40 Days. 40 Donations.
If you’re a native of New Orleans like I am, you know that the day after Mardi Gras feels different. The beads are put away, the king cake is gone, and just like that… Lent begins. Even though I didn’t grow up in the Catholic church, Lent was always part of the rhythm...
